Hello! This is my first cooking blog. My daughter, Lucy, and I came up with the idea after a rainy day quest for the perfect cupcake evolved into an in-depth cookbook reading marathon! We found so many recipes that sounded mouth-wateringly good that we decided we should begin our own "Julie and Julia" experiment. We are not quite as driven as Julie was so will not be working through a cookbook page by page by page.... but we will be posting recipes that appeal to us and our results and comments on their execution and how they came out in the kitchen.
We hope you like the recipes we post, they will be according to the season, so in the summer, we won't be posting hot soup or something seasonally incorrect. I hope you read our recipes and try them out.
